Scene 3 – Lieutenant Colonel Brune Farmagash

Lieutenant Colonel Brune Farmagash delivers a message to Colonel Valstohl Baquiste

“You are not going home Colonel, sir. You have not been discharged from the army” Brune said while still looking outside, he started to slowly shake his head,“You have been chosen to finish something that has become more than a weak spark of rebellion. Presumably…you are the only one who can do this, Colonel sir” Brune said and then turned around to look at his superior.

“The Ambassador General wants to see you tomorrow sir, at 11 in the morning, at his residence. You will receive your orders there, Colonel Baquiste. I am to take you to the residence sir. You will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, Colonel. Kindly pack your belongings tonight sir. I will arrive for you Colonel at 10:15 in the morning” Farmagash said.

The Colonel and his Lieutenant Colonel had formed an intimate understanding of each during their years of missions together. Valstohl while young for his age to have earned his rank as a Colonel, offered Brune a deep and different kind of respect. Not because of the lieutenant’s age but because of Brune’s ability to handle Valstohl’s volatile temperament which sparked violently whenever his enemy outwitted him.
